Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 might be coming back from the dead as Samsung confirmed the comeback of its Galaxy Note 7, but will be returning as refurbished device.

Samsung will now sell the Galaxy Note 7 as a refurbished device or as rental devices “where applicable.” The South Korean giant has established three principles to ensure that Galaxy Note 7 devices are recycled and processed in an environmentally-friendly manner

First, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices shall be considered to be used as refurbished phones or rental phones. This will vary based on the markets/country.

Second, all the salvageable components of the devices shall be detached for reuse.

Third, processes such as metals extraction shall be performed using environmentally friendly methods.

Selling the Note 7 as refurbished device will mean selling such a good phone as a cheaper price but it will help cut Samsung lose on the product. Samsung has been targeting Nigeria market recently, it is expected that the phones will also be available for us here.
